I just bought a 7'2 jig worm tessera rod to upgrade my jig rod and its great. good feel fast tip. i throw 3/8 to 1/2 oz jigs and i feel everything. i like the feel of the rod and some say its a heavy rod but i like it because I feel more comfortable that it want break on a good hook set. It can cast a 1/8-3/16 oz tx rig nice to. Caught a 5IB on it no problem. Like the rod might get another. Tight lines

I have been loving the warm winter and have been pond fishing a lot and have been pulling out lots of big girls. i fish a pond in this town home complex that used to live in and this pond has some big'uns. Hey everyone I am also new on the forums and from va too. My name is Ej thomas I fish with a region 6 club out of Richmond. I am currently a co and having a blast. Been tournament fishing going on three years and want to network more with other fishermen to continue to grow my career. Love to be involved in anything fishing even creating a Facebook page to network with other fishermen. My next move is Tring the bws next year. Hey my name is Ej Thomas and I am currently involved in club tournament fishing and fisher of men in va I want to advance my fishing into bigger tournaments and was interested in fishing the bws next year in va. I am a co angler right now and wanted to know if anyone out there had info and ideas on how to get into the series. I am trying to do more networking to find boaters that would like to link for the series and just talk about it in general. This year is a full season with club tournaments and Fom but I want to start learning more about the bigger series like bws. I also want to get into learning about sponsorships because I want to advance my fishing into a career. I think being in sales and marketing product would be a fun and exciting challenge that I know I have the passion for. I have fished as a co for two years now and have done well. I have been in the top of my clubs two years straight and placed 12th in our region federation classic as a co against boaters. Would love to learn more from anyone that has fished the series as a boater or co. Thanks to anyone that reply. Tight lines
