  1. I agree with most these posts; finesse tackle (bubble gum pink 4" centipedes, smoke 4" twin tail grubs, watermelon, red chili pepper, black, pumpkin seed, or red shad 5-7" worms), or small spinner baits (1/4 oz head size in chartreuse or white)
  2. Was there 1st of August. I had good luck with topwaters (popn r's) between 5AM and 9AM. I headed out of Big Cedars cove, then left (SW) under the highway bridge and fished the shore running southeast (just past the big white building with a dock- Italian restaurant I believe). There are a lot of extremely deep or extremely shallow points around there, so I stuck to that one shoreline. Nice row of cedars to target.
