I would recommend being a guide, at the store I work at there are some guys who guide then work the store when the have a day of from guiding. But it is not cheep to start a guide business because of the advertisement and all the rod and reels for the clients. But you might need a second job like working at a local bait shop that's what im doing right now then you then can get your name out and still be top of the latest tackle.

its a fiberglass jon boat its rated for 600 lbs with gear so i can hall some wight.

im wanting it in my jon boat so i Think that I will just stick with a cooler and im wanting to put herring in it(sorry guys but I cought the striper bug) and for a cooler its for 4 quarts=1 gallon right

can you insulate your own bait tank. Im wanting to buy a new bait tank. Im looking at a 30 to 40 galon tank. i found one for $99.99 uninsulated and im going to bulid my own fittler box Im wanting to put harring and some trout and maybe some big shiners. a list of parts and all that good stuff would be nice. so your saying that the eagles are not as good as lowrance but there better then garmin. but lowrance to me it looks like the you eather get a realy good one but pay $500, or you can pay$150 for one a get a not so good. to me it sounds like that eagle takes the place between those two price ranges of $500-$150 if that makes since. but the 480Df will not read good in less than 50ft right. but the 480 will read good to 1Ft to 800ft right. but what I herd I need to look for is the watts and pixels. so do you recomend the Eagle 480DF or the 480

hear lately ive been looking for a new fish finder. I started to looking a Lowrance X47ex, then I went looking at gamin 250, and now i think I found the one its a Eagle fishmark 480 for $199.99 it got 1500 watts http://www.eaglegps.com/Products/Sonar/FishMark480.htm then theres one other one im looking at the Eagle seafinder 480-DF $239.99 http://www.eaglegps.com/Products/Sonar/SeaFinder480DF.htm for 40 bucks I can get 4000 watts but it made for the ocean will it make a diffrence if I use it in smaller resovoirs. and do any yall have any of these units. and what one do yall think is a better one my max is $250. Ive never realy fished with shiners for bass, but I have with crappie. what kind of rod and reel do you need for fishing with them. im think like med rod.

like every one else said. in my pond I only fish senkos the color i use is watermelon with blue. and ive cought them on a cinnimon jig but its got to be the smallest jig you can find. and ive cought them on a zoom trick worm wightless baby bass color.

I have a 14.5ft fiberglass Jon boat it's a v-hull. I measured about how far I want it to come out to it was about 50 inches or so. So if yall could list some supplies and about how much they would cost me. Or a blue print or something or were I could get one would be nice. Thanks,

I fished this on lake a week or so ago and its idle only and i was in my 16 ft jon boat and just minding my self. I was casting in some standing timber I was about 10yrds from the timber then these guys came up in a ranger and drove his boat between me and the timber and then stops cuting me off and starts fishing RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, I laid me air horn down for a good 10sec, I dont know if he didnt see me or if he was just being a jerk. I hate people like that.
