This may be old news to some but I just thought of this fix about a month ago. I'm 63 and these days seem blind as a bat, consequently I've been having trouble stringing my rods, expecially in low light situations. I now tie the end of my line to a simple pipe cleaner and then thread the eyes with the pipe cleaner. Works like a charm. Then I just cut the pipe cleaner just below where the line is tied, snip the line and I'm good to go. Hope this tip helps other folks with old age eyes.
