  2. i'm looking to get my brother a nice pair of polarized glasses for christmas. he mostly shoreline fish. whats a good pair at a decent price. durability is a plus, we're in michigan so something that does good in murky water mostly sunny conditions.
  3. this probably sounds silly or maybe done before, but me and a friend was a cabelas the other day looking at those expensive rod carriers. i was think about cutting a pvc pipe to size and putting caps on the ends. if you wanted to keep the reel on. maybe you could cut a slot so the reel holder could slide in and the reel can hang outside. then buy one of those reel covers in urleybay picture. it would be a whole lot cheap and you could custom paint the pvc however you like. what do you guys think?
  4. thanks for the welcome everyone. hopefully i will land a big one like some of your profile pics! lol
  5. I've been lurking around this great site for a week now and just wanted to say hello. I just recently got back into fishing, it's been over 5 years since i last dropped a line. went fishing with my brother the other day with my brother and it remind how fun fishing is. it also how my how poor of condition my equipment was lol. after alot of tangles and back, lashes, i decided it's time to update. i've been doing some searching around here and think i found of couple of set ups i would like to get. still want to browse around so i can get things that will last and be happy with and avoid asking stupid questions and bring up topics that benn discussed a hundred times. i mainly offshore fish. i love to catch bass, but honestly i'm not picky when it comes to catching fish.
