  1. Thanks Retiredbosn! I appreciate the help very much. So you think the Fayetteville area is too rough to wade? I'll have to check into the Hinton area out. Thanks again for the info. Tight Lines and Screamin Drags to Ya!!!!
  2. Hello all. New to the site. Really like what I see so far. Keep up the great forum. Got a question for you New River WV guys. I have three best buddies here in Indiana and we have wanted to do some smallie fishing on the New River in WV for a long time. Things keep happening so we can't seem to pull off a trip with a guide and lodge type trip. So this year we decided we were going to make a long weekend and do some camping and fishing near Fayetteville, WV. Any of you guys be willing to let me know of some areas we might be able to do some wet wading and fishing? Preferably near some areas we could also pitch a couple of tents???? We are looking at the Fayetteville area only because we had that recommended to us by a guy who used to fish there. Not stuck on that area, jut sifgured we could start there. Not asking for any honey holes.....just an area of the river a high school teacher, a social worker, and a factory worker could try their luck at catching a nice smallie or two. Doesn't even have to be smallies. Just looking to get away from it all and maybe catch some fish. I'd be willing to share some info on steelhead and salmon fishing in some Lake MI tribs if you would be interested in trying your hand at that sometime. We just need some help getting in the right direction of where we could access some fishable water. We respect people's property so we want to make sure were not wasting our limited time driving to areas we can't access. Thanks for any info you might be willing to share. Tight Lines and Screamin Drags to Ya!!!!
