There's a lot of pressure on public ground in the St. Louis area during dove season. A friend and I (both retired LE) would love to get invited some place around St. Charles. We'll even buy lunch.

You are right,an 870 or any other decent pump is all one needs. I saw a Browning O/U about 35 yrs.ago and fell in love. So 20 years ago I bought one (12 ga.)then later I added the 20. Oh, did I mention I also have two 870 Wingmasters. Both are TC'S.

I'll take a 7x08, necked down .308. It's not that popular but it gets the job done.

I'm tempted to get one. I've been told you need to be very good to be successful with one. I know Catt would consider himself over gunned. Anybody use one?

I read some where,I forget where, that this is a high dollar rifle. When I got around to researching it I couldn't find one above $400.00. Are there different models,one of which may be rare.

I was looking at a Benelli Legacy. Why are they so expensive ? I'll still take my Citori but it's a very nice auto.

Has anyone seen the videos of the carp jumping out of the water and being shot by people in boats. Apparently this is legal as the fish is danger to the ecosystem.

Great ideas, need to get word out. A lot of hunters need someone to hunt with, info about what to use and how to sneak up on their prey.

After many years of various semi-autos ( A-5s,1100s,390s ) I bought a Browning Citori 525 20 ga.,28". Used primarily for dove and quail.

A friend may sell me one of these Rifles. I say may because he usually doesn't sell any of his guns. Both are modern bolt actions , NIB. Are they adaquit for Missouri deer and is ammo available?

I bought a slightly used one then I learned their was a problem with the carrier on some of them. I haven't experienced this with limited use. I've researched this and bought Seamus O'Caiside's book. I know how to fix the problem if it occurs ( I hope )but wonder if any one has experienced this problem.

Help. Any one know of a place to hunt doves near St. Louis? Buddy and I used to go to Poplar Bluff. Can't do those trips anymore and are looking for day trip. We've never had any luck with the Columbia Bottoms drawing. We're willing to try a commercial location if the price isn't to high. We're both retired.

They called me this morning and advised they didn't have the color I ordered in a crank bait. I changed the color and it and my 50e are on the way. Really nice to deal with.

I gave up on crankbaits a couple of years ago. I'm going to try them again. I had good luck on Wiggle Warts and DD 22's. Friends tell me to go to Spro Little John's (4 types)and Rapala DT series. These are more expensive. Are they worth it?

Just got back from Chicago. Any word on new baitcasters from Shimano?
