I found the same thing, mostly they don't want any new members. My problem is no boat, and very few clubs have tournament draws for riders. There is one club down in Washington, PA, but I have heard some negative comments about it - mostly about members being more worried about their bass points than anything else. Your best bet would be to investigate the week night tournaments at Cross Creek and Lake Arthur that are open to anyone who shows up. I fished in club tournaments for 7 years, but I got tired of all the politics. I'd rather fish for fun on my own or with someone who has a boat. Good luck..........
