  1. Thanks, I'll have a go at it.
  2. Hi, I've been killin them on senkos this week ata small lake I go to. I have been using a 3/0 gammie offset hook, however, the baits tear off VERY easily (more than a senko should; I know they're not the strongest plastics) I have to replace the senko after every fish. So, while my hook up ratio is good, I was wondering if I should up he hook size to a 4/0 or even 5/0? Any suggestions?
  3. Thanks, I'll have go at 'em
  4. My family and I are takin a little vacation down to florida and we'll be stayin in the clearwater area. I'd like to try some florida bassin, however I need some small bodies of water that are good fisheries. If any locals know about any spots please let me know (Don't worry about your secret spots with me. We'll be back in TX soon. haha )
  5. Thanks, Ill let y'all know how it goes
  6. Hey, I fished a pond yesterday while a cold front was passing through, and I had some pretty good luck with it. However, tomorrow I'm goin out to the same pond with the high only 70 degrees, after 85 degree weather. So my question is, should I slow it down, or fish just as I was when the front passed through?
  7. Well, tried this weekend. When I first got there, about 4 o'clock, I saw a nice bass and some bluegill on a sandy shallow bottom, but by the time I got my gear set up, he was gone. I fished the pads with a senko and then with a ribbit frog. I went to a split shot rig, thinkin' that some finesse might be what they need, but no avail. I'm shorebound right now, I think I'm gonna buy an inflatable boat soon and fish outta that. Any other suggestions/ critique is welcom.
  8. Thank y'all. I'm in central Texas, in San Saba County. I'll give these suggestions a try this weekend.
  9. Howdy, There's a small pond were I live, and I had a fine time catchin' good bass in the springtime. See, most of the pond is lilly pads, and I sight fished 'em all spring. Now, in late summer, I don't know where they went. There is an open section (no weeds) in one part and pockets of lilly pads all around one side. The other side is free of weeds and drops of steep. there's a "cattail island"in the middle. So, in late summer in Texas, how should I fish it?
