  1. If allowed stay close to the ramp and fish for soremouth fish. If not saddle creek has been producing some nice keepers in the very back using frogs and texas rigs. Slow side has produced alot better catches in the last few big tournaments I have fished in.
  2. I bought both of these reel when they first came out, and I tend to use the Sol more. The fuego tends to "freespool" at times as though the magnetic brake doesn't work. This could be a problem with my reel only though. I use the Sol on a custom made rod, and use the Fuego on a 7' rod with braid and like them both. Hope his helps.

  4. Reelmen Bass Club is looking for new members for the 2010 fishing season. We will be fishing 8 tournaments this year, with 6 of them being on Patoka Lake, one being held at Monroe Reservoir, and one will be at Barren Lake during the free fishing weekend in Kentucky. There will also be 5-6 open tournaments throughout the year. We currently have 12 boats in this our 4th year as a club. The Club dues are $50 per year with a $20 new member fee. Our tournaments are $50 per boat with $10 of that going to big bass. 100% payback. If anyone is interested please contact Keith Baird at baird.keith@insightbb.com or call at 502-609-1413.
