Im with ya on the Renagades. Had mine for 2 years and I got out weed eating with em yesterday and a rock flew up and knocked a chip out. Got some Strike King's and I am realy pleased with them. They are light and they have great polarization.......

I just reach down and lip it. But I use Power Pro braid so my line dont break very easy either. XT is a pretty good line. I havent known it to do this. maybe your line was frayed or something.

I catch most of my fish on finesse worms. What i do is get a 1/0 hook with 8lb test line. t-rig it and cast it out and let it sit for as long as you can stand it. lift you rod and then let it sink to the bottom. Let it sit for about 5 to 10 seconds and do it all over again. I perfer Medium action rods for this but every one has there own setup............
