Hit up a few local ponds and caught some nice 2-3 pounders this week on Rattlin Rapala - Baby Bass color. Anyone else fishing still in NW Indiana.

Went 3 times this week at local ponds and caught a few fish. Casting from shore with a Rattlin Rapala - Baby bass color. Steady retrieve, hitting the tops of weed patches and ripping across when I feel them. Fished a few hours each time and caught 2-5 fish between 2-3 pounds. When they hit it you'll know. Good luck.

Have access to a few trolling motors at any time. sound good to me.

Looking for some fellow bassers to fish with this fall. Thinking of trying the Kankakee or some other rivers if anyone knows. My down fall is I have limited access to a boat and may have to shore fish. I have never fished a river and would like to try. Also would like to try Lake George from a boat. This year the best fishing was in the spring at Doubletree Lake Estates in Crown Point. If anyone knows some other spots to try let me know. Or if you want to go lets go.

By far my go to worm is a "Berkley Sqwormer" 7-inch in Motor Oil Deadly in any condition I have found. By the way if anyone has or knows where to get "Sqwormers" pick them up. Getting hard to find in any color.
