All, I've got a 14' fiberglass jon boat from Sears. It was made in 1987. The hull is manufactured by MFG and has a hull ID of MFG04111B787. The data plate with the serial number is stamped metal, but the plate listing the capacities was a printed foil sticker. Its extremely faded and the data isn't visible. Does anyone have information on the capacities of this Gamefisher model Jon boat? Thanks, Shon

Luckily there's nothing fishy with the boat. Its just old. My step-brother gave it to me and it was his grandfather's. We used to take it out on the Potomac as kids. He has the title, just hasn't dug it out of his papers yet for me. If that has that same information on it as the data plate would, then I'll be alright. Thanks, Shon

I've recently acquired an old (possibly 1983) 16ft Gamefisher boat with a fiberglass hull. Its missing all data plates. It looks to me to be a modfied V hull. I plan on converting this boat but need to find out its capacity ratings for HP, weight, and # people. So far my Google searches aren't turning up much. If anyone can help, Thank you! Shon
