    That's the funniest "getting hooked" story I've ever heard - got tears in my eyes reading it to my wife now she is laughing hysterically. Just like the best way to guarantee it won't rain on a fishing trip is to not forget your rain gear - every since I started carrying a hook removal kit with lidocaine in it several years ago - neither I nor my fishing partners have been hooked. Not complaining mind you - just odd.
