I just purchased a new quantum baitcaster and plan on using it for flippin it has a flippin switch on side but my question is how do you set up the braking system internal and external seems like i cant get much distance from it

I have a hard time tying knots in braid what does everyone use attaching to jig,lure etc. and what knot do you suggest for tying a floro. leader to braid

Looking to purchase a fishfinder for the front of my boat (trolling motor) I look online in books everywhere but seems the more I look at the more confused I get. Looking to spend between 500-600 I see things like down scan,side imaging but I was wondering do they work with a trolling motor transducer. Would like to update the one that I have on the driving consaul but will have to wait till next year. Any help and ideas would be appricated
