Thanks for the info/tips. I know a gift card would be easy and appreciated but how cool of a wife would I be if I got the gift right and he loved the line? I think I'll go snooping through his tackle bags and see what he already has to get an idea. I'm not sure if he has any fluorocarbon line yet so I don't know if he'd be really picky on the brand. I just want to make sure it's good quality.

My husband is an avid fisherman, mostly bass and also trout. I know he want some fluorocarbon line for Christmas but I'm unsure what poundage to buy. Can someone recommend the correct weight to buy for bass/trout fishing? Thanks!
