I already pulled the prop an there was nothing obstructing it.

My trolling motor has been making this very loud squealing noise when I set the speed anywhere between 1/3 to max speed. It only does it while in the water and makes no noise when its out. Has anyone ever had this issue and what was the cause/solution? As you can imagine it gets pretty annoying while trying to sneak up on bass or trying to fight current. It is an 82lb Digital Tour. I will be making a trip down from Wisconsin to Missouri this weekend and would like to try Lake of the Ozarks. I will only have Saturday to fish and don't want to waste time. Does anyone have any info on a good starting point. Thanks for your help.

haha, ok so everybody has a different opinion... Thats ok, I think I was leaning towards an Abu Garcia, Shimano, or Daiwa.

I'll be using a ML rod and am wondering what would be a better reel for fishing small rivers with small spinners, small crankbaits and tubes. Last year I used a cheap quantum reel and would like to try something else. Looking to spend near $50. Thanx

What kind of round braid would you suggest/

Just picked up St. Croix Mojo Slop-n-Frog and Daiwa strikeforce in the 7.1:1 gear ratio and hoping to work on fishing lilly pads and slop with frogs. Now I'm double guessing myself and thinking I should have gotten the abu garcia black max instead. Should I stick with what I got or go with the black max? What kind and what lb. braid would cast best for either reels? Thanks, for your help.
