Was having cabin fever and then last week it was in the fifties so I was going to get the boat out and didn't and today there is 6 inches of snow on the ground. Does it ever end.

I had the same problem a while back and contacted Seaguar about it. It is a treatment that is on the line to keep it from sticking and drying out. They advised that it washes off the first time it gets wet and does not have any affect on the line.

I keep some fluorocarbon for if I am going somewhere that is extremely clear but 99% of the time it is mono. Either Stren or BPS Excel.

I have used it and like it. It is pretty smooth and supple but nothing about it would make me praise it any higher than what I have been using. All around though it is a good line. No breaks or problems.

I bought some triple grips to replace some dull hooks on my cranks and they have held up very well. I would get them again.

1987 Dynatrak 150 with a 45 horse Mariner. Not good for looks but it floats, runs when I want it to and it is paid for. Guess that means more money for lures. 8-)

Go with the 7'10". It will move more line thus making hooksets easier and more powerful at the deeper depths.
