I am looking to purchase a new spinning rod, and I am stuck! I prefer to have a rod that has a split grip, and is between 6'6" and 7'. Any suggestions?

Hello, First off, I am new to the site but have gained a ton of helpful/interesting information, so thanks to all. Secondly, my name is Marc and I have migrated from Central Oklahoma to Northeast Ohio, and although I have been in Ohio for 6 years now, I still am having trouble finding spots that produce not only large fish but numerous fish. If anyone lives in NE Ohio or has fished the area I would love to learn about any spots located in Ohio, Mich., PA, or any other areas relatively close to my area.
