Here are some Bull Shoals fish. Caught 30-40 ft deep on jigs last weekend. Check out my partner's 3 lb mean mouth. Best 5 were 15 lbs.

I fished a club tournament the other day. It was a rainy day and threw the plopper. Out of 11 hook ups I on got 2 to the boat. It was really frustrating. I had many more missed blow ups which is more to be expected. Anyone know of any mods I can do to keep fish from coming unbuttoned? It took 18 lbs to win and it was won on the plopper. I lost enough fish to win that twice. They were 3 to 5 pounders! I never had a day when I lost that many fish.

Yes for sure. Work keeps me pretty busy. Don't have time to fish like I want and I can be on Bull Shoals in 5 minutes

My Yamaha was getting old (like me) so I got a new motor. I went with Tohatsu. So far I like it. Need 3 more hours of break in. Runs quiet and gets much better fuel mileage. New boats are too expensive nowadays. I am not paying as much for a boat as what I paid for my house.

Caught this last Sunday. Didnt weigh it but its for sure a 4 pounder. Easy to see what I caught it on LOL

Clown Rogue on sunny days and a purple backed bait on cloudy days. Wrap wire around the front treble and drop in the sink until it completely suspends. This is especially important when the water is below 45F. Then you will want to let it pause between small twitches.
