  1. Anything weedless with a extra heavy weight to "punch" through the mat. Also a sinko/skinny dipper to drop in the holes.
  2. My experience has shown that CR is best used in deeper water, say 10+ feet and when the bite has turned off. However, find 10+ feet of water is tough in Florida. The best time is typically in the late fall and winter time frame. A slower presentation is better when they are not as aggressive. As far as how, I recommend a 2 foot leader with a very slow drag presentation. I also like a bait with a big tail that really makes a lot of motion.
  3. I am new to this fishing forum but I was told about this really good site from my fishing partner, South FLA. So here is my background. I am originally from GA where I grew up fishing West Point/Eufaula/Lake Harden/Guntersville etc for about 20yrs. I learned to fish by using Carolina Rigs, crank-baits, and slow presentations. I have lived in Palm Beach for about three years where I was introduced to the whole sinko/frog phenom and I absolutely love it. I have learned a lot from my partner, South FLA, and look forward to learning more from experienced fishermen on this site. Helluva Bassfisher
