When are you going up? I'll be there next week as a marshal for the Duel in the Delta. If you haven't left before I get back I should have some current info for you. Booking a guide at this late date probably won't work as they are all swamped this time of year. Try some of the flooded islands, Franks Tract which everyone beats on, Mildred or Mandiville for a start. Also in the marina's they like to make beds by the dock pilings. PM me before you go and I'll see if I can give you anymore tips.

The best thing you could do to make your trip a blast is to hire a guide for a day. One day with a guide on the delta is better than 2 weeks on the water as far as what you can learn. i fish up there quite a bit and believe me it nothing like what we have down here in So Cal

Redfins, hmm never used one of those. I love waking a black dog shellcracker, wonder if they'd go for that. In the CA delta they kill that bait especially around spawn time. I'll have to look into the refins. What type of mods are you talking about?

Unfortunately I'm flying in so my choices have to be somewhat limited. I know its early but it'll be here soon. We'll be fishing out of Kimberling City. Is there a swimbait bite? I love throwing 4-6" Black Dog Shellcrackers the big girls around here can't stand seeing any kind of bluegill around the beds and really nail it.
