Call Springfield, MO and ask for Johhny Morris, the founding father of Bass Pro Shops and Tracker Marine. He will personally take care of you to your satifaction.
Remember, ask for Johnny!
If it's an Optimax, warm up time may take between 10 to 15 minutes. Put the hammer down and stay ~ 2500 RPMs for several minutes then ease into WOT if needed. After a run, come off plane and let it idle for a minute or two before shutting off. Repeat this process each time to start the motor dur ing the day, NOT just the first!
Good luck!
You should really support your local mom and pop tackle shops. Fisherman's Warehouse, Hook Line and Sinker, Mel's, C&C, et al offer superior service, no aggravation, and fill you in on the hot bite and latest equipment information. You can't put a price on those "extra's".
Try getting anything remote to that from BPS
Good luck!
I agreee with flippin stick. At the end of the day, the bite usually gets better. So, plan to be at the best spot(s) during that time frame. Also, the best chance to get a big fish is first light, even in winter.
Good luck!
