Thanks for all the replies, I think I will exchange it for the 120 since I don't plan on doing much with it. I thought you can play ps2 games on the PS3. I read online about how you cannot play ps2 games on the 20gb, but you can on the 40gb. Obviously those were old threads, can someone clarify this? I think some of them were backwards compatible at one time but they aren't anymore....sometimes. I have heard of people getting one that would work with all the Greatest Hits PS2 games, some work with just the regular games, and then some none of them would work. It was a hit/miss sort of thing. I think the game updating is for on-line play. I could always play mine without updating, but I had to if I wanted to play on-line.
