Anybody fished lake harding recently.

I have been wanting to fish the alabama river but have never had the chance. I only live about an hour north of montgomery so i could easily drive and fish for a day but my question is ? Is the alabama river covered with underwater rocks because the river system that i fish in town(chattahoochee river) is and the only kind of boat you can fish out of is a aluminum boat because of all the rocks.

What is up with west point lake. I prefished for a tournament there friday and caught some decent fish once i caught 1 or 2 off of a spot i would leave and sat during the tournament i caught 25 to 30 fish, but they were all 13 to 15 inch spots. Where is the largemouth bite? I also talked to other anglers who were just as shoked?

Anything and everything you could share. I try and fish it and everytime i fish that lake i leave more mad. I have a tournament up there in three weeks and plan to pre fish the next two weeks. I can consistently catch spots but the bigger largemouth i can never find.

What kind of boat are you specifically looking for ?

thats what i was thinking. I was hoping i didnt have to buy that motor guide bracket for a hundred dollars b/c i didint want to have to drill any more holes. Thank you for your suggestion.

Yeah im going to see if they match up i just wanted to see if anybody had ever done something like this before i started. Have been working so much havent had see if they match up.

I just bought a motor guide FW54 lb thrust trolling motor and am wondering when i mount it will the holes line up to my previous trolling motor which was a FW40 lb thrust motor guide?

Im redoing an aluminum boat right now as well and im using treated 2x4's for the braces and treated plywood and everything that i have read said its ok. keep us updated on your project i would love to see some pics of the process.

Can anyone shed any light on West Point Lake for me? I fish moslty on the southern side towards west point but have been as far as lagrange. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
