  1. Yeah Raul, I have enough equipment to sort through to last through a few winters I think. Wife says I have to much but we guys know that there is no such thing as too much fishing equipment. Women don't understand it is an addiction. Got to have all of the new stuff you know.
  2. Marc, I compared them to the LC's I have and they are very close. Almost looks like the same type of manufacturing setup. Hooks are very sharp also. 8-)
  3. senile, I am in the north central part of Indy. I could still fish but with work and other obligations, I figure I should get it done before it gets too cold. I went out last week and caught some small bass but nothing to brag about. And to Sam, thanks for reminding me about the things I can do to keep me occupied in the winter. That always takes up a lot of time. 8-)

  6. Hey Tony, Thanks for your service over seas. I know all real Americans appreciate our servicemen and women. So yes, you will have a much better winter even if there is a lot of bad weather. Gotta be better than the best day over in the middle east.

  10. Dan, no problem. I still can't believe how much like the LC's they are. They do have a small picture of one in the latest FLW outdoors magazine. It seems to be alot better quality than the new KVD square bill cranks even though the Strike Kings are about a buck 25 less.
  11. Just finished winterizing the boat today. Washed it up and getting ready to wax it for winter storage. (Stays in my garage) I hate this time of year. Oh well, guess I'll start cleaning up my rod and reels and organize my tackle for next spring. Plus, scanning my catalogs to see what other goodies I can order. I think I can make it till next spring. What do you guys think?

  15. Hey everyone, Just bought 4 of the new XCalibur square bill crankbaits and they are awesome. They look identical to the LC crankbait line without the high price. I got them at BPS for 6.99 apiece. You have got to see these things. I suppose they will also make a complete crankbait line with the same body styles. If so, LC will have some serious competition especially at less than half the price. 8-)
  16. That's the way it should be. I have tried to get in touch with Rapala but can't get any responses. I have broken 4 lips off of their DT series crankbaits by bumping rocks and stumps. I know they wanted thin lips to get the baits down but they are way too flimsy. Poor customer service. I guess I'll have to stick with the SK and Norman series. You can drive 8 Mack trucks over the Normans and they won't have a scratch or broken lip.
  17. MMan, come on! It's easy to resist the temptation. At least that is what my wife tells me. Meanwhile I am about to place an order myself. This is just between us right guys? :-/
  18. I love the square billed Strike King series 4 for shallow timber. I've beaten these lures all to heck and they keep on going with very few hangups. I hate to pay for them except when BPS puts them on sale but the LC's are very good.
