They are the exact same reel with the exception of one bearing and a low mass spool in the Curado to help throw lighter weights. Having said that the Curado is the better reel of the two...but I took my Curados back for more Citicas...I couldnt justify the extra 60 bucks for the small amount of difference in performance.

15lb Pline Fluoro always works for me.

Falcon Lowriders or Bucoo's...or spend a lil extra and get a T7 Falcon Cara...all nice rods.

Would love a BCR 853 ...even looked at them...but man...$350+ for a rod...is the sensitivity gain actually justified for the extra $150?

Been using Falcon Cara's but got an itch to try something new. Will be using the rod for 1/4 to 3/8 ounce jigs and soft plastics. Any opinion is great!

Ive been fishing that line here in Indiana for about a month in the river (only water without ice on it) and it has been great. Even in the 30 degree weather its been very manageable and has had great knot strength with very low memory. So far its the best flouro ive used...very impressed.

As much as I loved my Revo STX's...once i got the Curado 201E7's i sold my STX's off. The 201E7 just feels smoother and more powerful to me. To be honest...the Citica E aint no joke either...and would probably work almost as well.
