Thanks a lot, That is warmer than the dishpan lake I fished yesterday in Va Beach. The warmest I found was 60 degrees. I did catch a 4.5 and a two pounder by 7 am and no more till I left at two. It was very windy here yesterday. I have a slight dilemma. I have penciled out the week of april 17 thinking that the moon phases and water temp should be prime for fat late prespawn ---spawners. My dillema is I do not want to be on the lake if it is packed with boats and fisherman trophy hunters. I am going to relax have a good time,and catch a lot of nice fish and maybe keeping none but a big one if I can git lucky. I would rather sacrifice a pound of eggs for their weight than not be able to enjoy the fishing. I have heard that spawning season gets crowded-crowded. I can take off anytime. I can go next week. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Old School Do you know what I mean?

Hey out there, Greetings I am a new member. I live in Chesapeake Va and am going to take a 'week for the creek'. Anybody been fishing it and do you know the water temp. Tomorrow I am going to fish a small lake on the base at little creek amphib base. Old School I will get a picture up soon.
