Hey guys. I'm heading to Lake Dardanelle in Arkansas this week to fish the Collegiate event down there. I've found air temperatures for the past month but i haven't found a source for water temps. Has anyone been fishing it within the last week or two?

New to bassresource... and new to running tournaments in general. I live in Lincoln, Nebraska and i fish on the collegiate bass fishing team here at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. We are hosting a benefit tournament for our club (GO Huskers!) to cover travel expenses for the upcoming tournament season. This is my question. What percentage of the entry fee would you recommend going to the payout? I want to make money for the club but at the same time i want to attract some of the more serious "bass guys" with a good payout. I was thinking a $50 entry fee and having 60% of that go to payout. There would also be a $5 big bass option. One other thing to keep in mind... this is SE Nebraska and we willl be hosting the tournament on a 200 acre lake. We are expecting 10-15 boats. thanks for your suggestions. -Drew
