  1. The problem is that when I retrieve the lure, instead of the spinner being above the beetle, it is beneath. It's just upside down because the head of the beetle is floating. The beetle is on the clip the right way, but the whole rig is flipped the wrong way. I just need a way to weigh down the beetle so it sinks underneath the spinning blade and arm so the clip is underneath the rig and not on top. I hope that clarifies and so I can get some help.

  3. I've got a Johnson Beetle Spin w/rattle. The issue is that the spinner is underneath the body and hook so I'm getting hits and no hooks. I had another beetle spin that wasn't a rattle and the spinner was on top, so I'm assuming this new one is wrong. Frustrating, to say the least. I think the problem is that the head is hollow, considering the rattle part, and floating, therefore keeping the whole rig upside down. I'm wondering if there is an easy way to fix this. I'm awfully new to fishing so my terminology is crap. Simple, descriptive terms and tips would be great, but any help is much appreciated. Thanks
