Wow those are some ridiculous fish and all over a few days unbelievable.

when is the last time you used a net?
I never use a net for bass. When I hook something larger like a carp or catfish I'm always looking for the net I did not bring. The day I lose a trophy bass is the day I will carry a net.

fishing frogs & toads
I usually burn it for a few seconds and then pause, burn it, pause. This retrieve usually gets hits.

Kerry Wood puts wind in sails!
I agree he sucks. He was good when he first came into the league with the Cubs. Now he over throws and his off speed pitches are predictable. He is damaged goods, he has hurt his arm multiple times. I cannot believe the Indians are paying him 10 million dollars.

A Clam?
I caught a freshwater clam on a Texas rigged Zoom Trick Worm. It clamped down and i thought that i had caught a bunch of moss. When i get it in, the clam had the worm half way inside. I'm wondering if anyone has ever caught a clam while bass fishing with a plastic worm. Sorry its so small. I took it with the camera in my phone.

crankbait colors
Whether or not a bass will bite a lure does not solely rest on its color. It depends a lot on the action, shape and retrieve. So even if there are not any shad where you fish, a shad colored lure could still produce. Bass have the same instinct to strike whether in WI or in FL or TX, IMO.
