  3. Well hello everybody, new to the forum and glad i joined it. As its getting warmer and warmer out i have been going fishing everyday after school at the local dam, and since i have had my Shakespeare xteara since i was 10 i decided its time to upgrade. i posted this to ask what kind of rod would be best for me, i mainly bass fish but sometimes ill go trout fishing too. i was looking piecing together something using a shakespeare Deceiver spinning reel (6.2:1 ratio) but as far as the rod goes im looking at a uglystick fresh water rod... i mainly need to know if this would be a good overall setup or if theres any better setups i could use for a multi purpose rod.. thanks
