Went to a new lake and got skunked on EVERYTHING I used. 1st time I got skunked this year.

Going fishing tomorrow, I'll let a plastic sit in some grounds with a little hot water overnight and try it out tomorrow and post back the results. I hope its in flavor or scent and not made with coffee instead of salt or something like that. ;D

Appreciate the responses. Yeah I missed that one due to I had to build a livewell. Now I'm just waiting for another one to enter now that I'm set. Still been fishing almost every day and love it! Still want to see how it is to compete doing it though, seems like it would bring a new type of excitement. You see a fella in a painted white 14 ft john, with a 9.5 sportwin on the back say hey, thats me ;D

What is with all the new plastics in coffee? Is it literal like in scent or flavor, or color? Has anybody put thier plastics in coffee to do the same thing?

I have always wanted to fish a tournament since begining to fish, trying to talk my brother into it with his stratos bass boat. He was always busy working and couldnt find the time. Well I just got back from overseas and got ahold of a small 14' jonboat with a 10 horse and bought a trolling motor to go with it. Now I know it's considered the ''easy'' season, but I've been tearing the bass up! Anyhow there's a local tourney where you pay a 100$ to enter and it's from 9 to 4 with a 2000$ 1st prize. Would I get shooed away with my boat or?.... Don't really mind getting a little ribbing or laughed at just curious. Want to have some fun.
