Name a fishing technique that you absolutely LOATHE!
For me it's fenisse fishing with light lines and tiny baits. I like power fishing something fast that you can cover a lot of water and on 50 lb. braid. The only slow technique I like is Deadsticking.

Weirdest Thing You've Reeled In
The wierdest thing I've ever caught was a long time ago when I was a kid fishing with marshmellow and eggs. I cast out and before it sank a duck ate the marchmellow. He took off flying and I had to rell in a duck in the air. Daffy put up a good fight in the air but the real battle started when I got it to the dock. Them things can be really mean!!!!! lol Daffy didnt know I was trying to help him and he bit the shhhh out of me lol

add any cover to your lake?
If there is any dead trees that you can fall in the water makes the best cover for bass you can get. About 8 to 10 feet of water is best if you can get the tree in that deep. If you are able to cut a live tree a hardwood tree makes the best cover right away. Pine trees will make good cover after a few years in the water but at first bass will not use them because of the chemicals (pine tar) that leech on into the water.
