You could also try the H2O Express line of jerkbaits from Academy....they have produced well for me and I definitely don't mind if I do lose one bc of the price point

Is there any way to find out what forage are in waters you are planning on going to for the first time or just lakes and rivers in general?

It is not operational...in its infant stages because of things like this...he has not spent any money whatsoever as of yet...more so waiting to see what items will cost so he can get an idea of what kind of margin he can expect over time

How do you go about getting a distributor catalog?

I just got my Lews Tournament Speed Spool in today paired with a *** 6' 7" MH rod and all I can say is WOW!! The reel casts like a dream and this is the first year I have ever thrown a baitcaster. The rod I bought off of TW based off of reviews and PM's with different people through the forum and all I can say is I am glad I did! The feel of this rod is the amazing. I have had trouble in the past of catching fish with bottom contact lures because I couldn't feel the bite. Through watching Glenn's videos I have learned so much and put it all to use today. I saw the line jump before I felt the bite but still felt it! This is the first time I have ever felt the bite and I have to say I think the *** had a lot to do with it! I am so thankful to have this forum as a resource to me and for everyone's patience and support through so many posts and nagging questions in a sport that many think is too "top secret" to share any information. Thanks again!

you are correct sir! How can they afford to let them go at that price? I would have had it for $77 but someone big $82 with 1 second left but I had a max bid over that....I know retailers have MAPP pricing they have to follow but why do some not have to follow MSRP?

Has anyone used this rod? Ive seen nothing but good reviews on it but would trust everyone's opinions here more so than people who Ive never seen or spoke to Thanks ahead of time

I am pretty set on the Lews Tournament or Lews Tournament Pro for the reel but I am needing suggestions on what rod to pair with it...but if you all have any other reels in this price range that you would recommend feel free to give me some options I am not really looking for a technique specific rod but just the best overall rod that I could pair this with in your opinion. Any and all suggestions are much appreciated. I am not near any sporting goods places that I can put the reel on the rod to see what kind of balance it would have. I am wanting to stay under $300 for the total combo Thanks in advance

Thats awesome advice everyone I appreciate it....Tom I am using a Lew's reel 6:4:1 rod is 7' MH 10 lb mono line and if its a t-rig most of the time a EWG 2/0 or 3/0 hook with a 5-7.5 in worm...jig sizes will vary but most of the time I will use a football head jig in the 3/8 to 1/2 ounce range

What are some ways that you can work on feeling a bite particularly with plastics and jigs? Also, if you were having big time trouble being able to detect a bite would you throw anything else until you felt like you a solid grasp of what a bite feels like? Thanks for the advice

What other worms would you recommend that are comparable to the rattlesnake from GrandeBass? I really like the ribbed look to these worms and I feel the action would be a bit better than just a regular worm so what other worms that are made this way would you guys recommend? The only reason I am asking is because I am going to BPS for the classic sale and GrandeBass is not sold at any BPS that I know of. Thanks to all who offer insight
