  1. Anyone ever fished the Loxahatchee River, actually the "riverbend" area just south of the canoe outpost. I've fished there once last summer, caught one and had a couple of other hits. But getting ready to go again and their website says you can catch "lunker" bass in one of the lakes. Lunker, their words not mine...here is the quote: Paddling a short distance into the marsh is West Lake. Watch for Bald Eagles as several pair live here. This is a great place to fish for lunker bass. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  2. been using old faithful...Texas rigged, either purple / motor oil / or chartreuse with glitter worm. Got out Saturday before 7:30, fishing the bank at a local golf course. Caught a total of "12" with "3" in the 5 - 6 lb range, nothing was below 2 lbs. Not sure what the last one weighed seeing how she had one hanging out her stomach!
  3. My schedule is pretty flexible, as far as my buddy goes who has the jon boat, I think Mon, Tue or Thur would suit him better.
  4. I go out to the lox all the time with a buddy of mine in his jon boat, I'd be game if I can talk him into it....
  5. nice looking set up for your kayak. .. have you ever fished that canal part of the chain at woolbright just west of the Lowe's?
  6. I like the idea of a one fish tourney.
  7. New to the site, was curious if anyone would mind listing any of their favorite spots to drop in and fish. one of my favs is a community lake in Boynton Beach, southwest corner of Woolbright and Congress, behind Cvs. They put up no fishing signs up within the last year or so, so I haven't been fishing it much lately.
