    They are using what Humminbird provides with the transducers.

    Thanks for all the input. The transducter has been re-mounted, replaced, and there still is a problem. Stratos is in contact with Humminbird to get help. Sure hope it's not a boat problem, but it's starting to sound like that. They have even tried a brand new unit.

    I have a 2008 Stratos 176XT and my depth finder looses its signal at 25 mph. The boat only goes 35 mph. Stratos says I have a problem with the mounting, wiring or other. The boat dealer says I have a boat problem and it can't be fixed. The transducer is mounted thru the hull. My question is if this is something I have to live with and do most boats with thru the hull mounting loose its signal? Thanks for the help!!
