Depending on your fishing style the Power Pole is the best invention since Skeeter built the first bass boat. I love mine and will never go without one. The trolling motor has it's place but if you keep it on you will spook fish in less than 8 feet of water. Suggest you work with the installer for location of your hydralic pump. Many are not very innovative and they like to just put it in your dry storage areas. I had one installer take my dry storage tray out and mount it behind my driver's seat. Didn't take up any space. On my present boat they were able to install it on the bracket supporting my transom. Let me know if you have any questions and enjoy your Power Pole!

Anyone have tips for John's Lake. We are going there the end of Jun for a local club tournament. Would appreciate any tips.

I'm coming up from Florida to be a co-angler in the Northern Open in Sep. Looking to share expenses and get in a few practice days (13-15 Sep).
