I also try to compete in some open tourneys (key being try) I live in the rochester region so I get out on Lake Ontario and its tribs also. Most of my fishing is done during the week and solo..

    Try sodus bay, about 40 minutes from rochester and they have boat rentals @ Bay Bridge Sport Shop 9555 Ridge Road (west end of Sodus Bay Bridge) North Rose, NY 14516 (315) 587-9508 I think they have cheap rentals, you can also try arney"s marina. I fished here this past weekend and we crushed the Lm. flippn creature baits and cranks..good luck
