Great thanks! Its a good thing I asked before i went and bent them out to a 90!

I received my Verdict spinning rod a couple of days ago, ( thanks BTD for the awesome sale price! ) and finally got a chance to look it over, The last couple of guides before the tip are angled toward the tip, looks like maybe a 45 degree angle, I only own one other spinning rod to reference to, but its guides are at a 90 degree angle to the rod. Anyone got a Verdict spinning rod they can look at to see what there last couple of guides look like? Thanks

Got the 7' M/STX 20 on the way, cant wait to try! Planning on using 8lb fluro as well.

I was thinking either 6 or 8 lb floro, and starting with 3/16 jig heads

Hi all Ben lurking for a while and soaking up the excelent info available on this site! anyway, thanks to BTD's sale I'm going to pick up a verdict rod for shakey head, which is a technique im looking to use this year for the first time, but im not to sure on which rod length and action to get, since the sale ends soon there isn't much time to ask around, and I didn't find the search function to friendly. Not to many of the guys I fish around use any finnese stuff anyhow, so they wouldn't be much help anyway. I intend on pairing it with a Garcia Soron stx, and I beleive from what i've read I should grab a STX 20? so to shortan it for those who hate reading long post: Which Verdict Rod/Soron STX do i want for Shakey head? Thanks!
