    Has anybody been to Colyer Lake this spring? I live in State College and go to Penn State so this is the closest lake for me. I was there a few times last summer but not yet this spring. I mostly fish from the shore because I don't have my boat at school. Does anybody have any tips for shore fishing at Colyer?

    I just bought a ST CROIX PS-60L PREMIER GRAPHITE ONE PIECE FISHING ROD SPINNING 5'6" MED 4-8 LB LINE LURE WT 1/16-5/16 OZ from ebay and am not sure what kind of reel would be best for it. Any tips or information will help because I have never bought a reel by itself. Thanks
