A dead half digested 5" perch I was just beginning to fish senkos earlier this summer and didn't have the technique down yet. After I casted my senko into the water I let it sit for about 10 seconds. When I went to initially twitch it I felt a fish on so I set the hook pretty hard. After getting the bass 1/2 way to the boat my line just went dead. After loosing the bass, I reeled in the rest of my line and to my surprise there was a dead perch attached to my hook!
