  1. Those are some great ideas. I didn't think to downsize on the spinnerbait (to 1/8oz). I'll definatley be picking some up along with the rattletraps and inline. Thanks again.
  2. I was thinking spinnerbaits, but not rattletraps! I realized I have to buy some (rat-l-traps). What sizes are you throwing for both the spinnerbaits and 'traps? Thanks again!
  3. Great board! I was fishing a pond/lake type body of water that held some monster smallmouth. My partner was throwing live bait and hooking into some beasts! I was using artificial (I like the challenge), however, I was a little perplexed by the water color. What type of lures for smallmouth when the water is the color of english breakfast tea, and visibility up to 2ft. (seriously, not stained, but Tea colored)? My partner was using shiners (golden) and they were inhaling 6-8 inch shiners with no problem! I only had plastics with me that day (senkos in watermelon) and cauht only 2 fish (decent but not big). I was wondering also heading into fall what other baits/colors for this body of water. The maximum depth is about 30ft, and the average is 2-15ft. Some cover on shore, and weeds are currently dying. (also scattered rocks). I wanna catch a monseter Thanks to everyone in advance!
