I have a VP 135 hp engine in my Glastron GS 185 Ski & Fish. I store it for five months of the year. I change the plugs after I run the tank full of stored gas (treated w/ Stabil) out of it in the spring. I figure $25 for plugs is a good investment for a six month period of boating and fishing enjoyment.

Keuka Lake is one of NY's Finger Lakes, and a hot spot for smallies. I'm at my place from late April through mid-October, w/ my 1998 Glastron GS185 Ski & Fish and MinnKota trolling motor, hammering the fishing spots twice a day in OK weather. Retired Sup't of Schools, just turned 70, and don't plan to stop fishing until I ring it up for good.
