Hello, I'll be heading there this spring to visit. Is there any good places for bass near there? I'll be shore fishing so please keep that in mind thank you.

Yeah i went looking for some place that i could fish on a whim. Everything still locked in ice.

We hit 60 in our area yesterday, I drove around looking for a place to fish but everything was still ice bound. :'(

I wish i had a helpful suggestion, unfortunately I haven't seen open water in a few months. I'm glad to hear you guys are out already. Good luck getting the big boys and hopefully i'll have some better news in about 2 months!

I was just watching some youtube videos about the strike king rage series, and to my surprise i see a picture of badcrawdad! Nice job getting yourself into that video.

Any one have any insight on what is good type of boat/canoe, that one person can easily move and can use a trolling motor? Thanks ahead of time for your answer.

Hey folks, I'm sure this is a dumb question but here goes, do senkos and/or the rage series soft plastics have to be kept in there packages to stay good? I'm only asking due to the fact i'm outta room in my tackle box. Look forward to hearing thanks in advance.

Just my 2 cents on the keeping of bass. I have a friend and his father that will keep bass some times and they double deep fry them. There suprisingly good tasteing. However i myself always catch and release. Not sure about the guys you saw but i do know of some that like to eat them.

Was finally able to make it out today. First time in almost a week. Went to the Wilton resevoir caught six LM biggest just under 3#. Hoping to get out more this week!

Thanks unh. I love my ugly sticks for trout fishing but my friend said there to short for bass (there only 4.5'). Any suggestion on length and sensitivity?

Thanks for the greetings. I've always been a trout fisherman until i caught my first bass that is! I'm still using small brook rods and would like to upgrade. You guys have any good ideas for nice reel/rod combos for spinning set up?
