Hello everyone, from sunny (lately rainy) Miami, FL! I just found the forum and I'm cranked up about returning to bass fishing after so many years away from it. It's been aprox. 25 years since I last went fishing in my native country, and my, have times changed! There's a whole lot of equipment and techniques to re-learn! I have 2 kids (7 & 9 yrs) and recently got interested again in fishing, just to spend quality family time on the weekends (instead of TV and video games) and have fun! We just started buying equipment, building up our tackle/lures box, rods, etc (no boat yet), so we are taking it little by little until we get proficient with it. This Saturday we will visit a few lakes were we think we might have a good time (right now it will be mostly to learn and enjoy, so a few bites here and there will do). I'll be posting my questions and doubts as we go along. Thanks everyone!
