  1. I fish extremely clear water in Northern Arkansas - the clear spook jr has been my go to top water bait. Everything attacks it.
  2. IMO a 1/2 day with a good guide on your first day to mark GPS points is well worth the expense. Makes a strange body of water much friendlier, especially if you are going to be there several days.
  3. Been to Pickwick - can't get use to the boat and barge traffic. At Greers Ferry, it's just us fishermen after Labor Day and before Memorial Day. Lord willing, I will retire in 10-20 years, move here permanently and fish daily.
  4. Hello from Memphis. After 30 year hiatus, I bought a place on Greers Ferry Lake 3 years ago. I have re-caught the fishing bug and have fished this lake every season the last 3 years. Big hybrid bass are the best but have caught 14 different species of fish. My brown water fishing friends told me there were no fish in Greers Ferry, just a great recreational lake. Let them keep thinking that!
