  1. Ynnhoj86, its the crankin stick so iv been throwing lipless cranks and bandit 300's. I lost 1 in a tournament on a lipless and 2 4 lbrs in practice within 5 casts on a bandit. I know bandits stock hooks are crap but I had never had to change hooks out before. Maybe I am just noticing it more because the rod is new to me but I really don't ever remember losing fish to the extent that I have. I know when throwing treble hooks I'm going to lose fish. Maybe fishing with it more will help me get used to it. I love the rod and sensitivity tho
  2. Shackman, that's a good idea. I have some tennis grip tape that will work great for this.
  3. I recently bought a new e21 carrot stick. I have fished with it a few times and noticed the grip on the butt of the rod is really rough, almost like sandpaper. In a tournament today I threw this rod almost all day and now my hand is all torn up. Also, from makeing the switch to the carrot stick, I feel like i am loosing more hooked fish during the fight, isnt the parabolic bend supposed to help with that? has anyone else noticed these problems?
