    Thinking about buying a St.Croix AVS69MLXF spinning rod for grub fishing (1/8 to 3/8 oz.) , drop shot, shaky-head and other finesse fishing for bass, walleye and saueye fishing. Does any of you guys have one of these rods, if so how do you like it and what all do you use it for. Thanks, Steve

  3. Need Some Info On A Couple Of St. Croix Rods

    Question on the St. Croix Avid AVC70MHM is how well does it cast crankbaits in the 1/2 oz range, the rod is rated for lures between 3/8 to 1 oz. Second question is how well does the Avid AVC70MHXF cast lures in the 3/8 oz. range. I fish mostly from shore in strip pit ponds and casting distance is inportant to me. Any comments on these rods would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve
