  1. I cut out 2 19" discs from plywood. Drilled bottle sized holes in one of the discs. Placed spacers between the 2 discs and screwed them together; then mounted 4 old casters to another piece of plywood-roughly equidistant from the center. Ran a short piece of threaded rod up through the center of all plywood to keep things aligned and now have a great rotating bottle holder for about 30 bottles(est). All components were made from scrap material so cost was $0.00
  2. I've tried to find out if UV finishes, coatings, and lures are for real, or just another gimick. Seems some folks like the UV stuff and feel it aids in catching more fish while some think it just another opportunity to catch more fisherman. I can't find a lot of info. Any thoughts?

  5. Just regstered on the forum. Been fishing for a while, used to fish Santee Cooper till relocation to Aiken, SC. Now fishing Clarks Hill, Russell, and Murray. Fish for recreation and keep a striper or 2 for the freezer once in a while. I fish a lot of crankbaits, making them and painting them is a hobby. Nothing better than catching a few on a homemade bait. I hope I can get some tips on making and painting hardbaits, and I plan to share some things I've learned along the way. Eventhough I don't have a ton of experience, I might be able to share some of the things that work for me. Will be interesting to here comments from anglers from all over the country and world.
